Kevin Peka our Waihi Underground Project Leader has been awarded a Waikato Commissioner Appreciation Award last Thursday.
We are very proud of Kevin
and his effort’s in saving a man’s life at the Waitawheta river. Kevin pulled a fully clothed male out of the river who was submerged under water for 5 mins, the man had no pulse when Kevin had pulled him out of the water. After Kevin’s efforts of performing CPR for 20mins the male returned a pulse and is alive and well today.
Your fast response and knowledge is truly admirable, you are a true hero to all of us not only at Alton Drilling but also our wider community.
